Smaller than expected – These masks effectively filters odors and mist from sprayed insecticides. However, the mask seems small as the valve is touching my lips when wearing the mask. With other masks there is more space between my lips and the valve.

If you are buying masks for yourself, and cost is not a concern, this is the one you want. – In terms of fit, dust leakage around the side of the mask, and durability this is a better quality filter mask than the ones I have used in the past.

Authentic 3M N95 Respirator – Concerns by some reviewers about the packaging of 3M’s 8511 N95 respirators are unfounded. Unlike Chinese KN95 respirators, the 3M 10 pack were always packaged in one bag with a plastic tie and not individually wrapped like the KN95. The differences between the N95 and KN95 are obvious. The cool-flow version is designed to reduce particle inhalation (dirt, dust, etc.) and not to be wore by someone who is contagious. The filtering feature is one way. Unlike the KN95 ear loop straps, I’ve never found the N95 over the lead straps uncomfortable. A tight fit is required to assure maximin filtering.

Great value and fit – I have used these are various projects such as wood sanding, metal cutting/grinding, leaf mulching, etc. They provide great particle and smell blocking while still being light and allowing comfortable breathing. They do cause my glasses to fog up sometimes, but not as much as other masks in the past. I have purchased these numerous times and recommend them.

They are good protection. Just not comfortable. – So I bought these after much research, but they hurt my ears and head. I ended up taking up a staple corner on both elastics, and placing the elastic on the same side so I can wear them around my ears, and that was much better. The little flap in front of the mouth opens when you exhale, and closes when you inhale. The shape is good, and stays off your mouth and nose, but I had to wear an extra mask at the hospital over it because of that flap. So that didn’t make me feel safe with them. I’ll use them for cleaning, or other tasks, but they might not be best for covid, etc., as many videos and reviews stated. Otherwise, why would hospital staff look at it and then make me wear an extra mask over it? Not happy. At nearly $40 for a box, I’m a bit disappointed.
