Perfect to cover 6 ft x 9 ft kitchen window. The adhesive tape not so good. – The sheet of plastic covered my 6 ft x 9 ft kitchen window perfectly. However, the adhesive tape had problems. Perhaps it was old and out of date? I’ve used similar products in the past, so I knew how it was supposed to work. After the adhesive was applied to the surface, the paper backing would not separate from the adhesive, no matter how much I tried. Luckily, I had enough of a competitor’s adhesive tape to do the job. I did not want to take the time to do a return, get a refund, and wait for another delivery, so just used what I had to complete the job.

Works well…best if two people work together to install. – The product clings well, so I suggest having a second person to assist with the install.

Easy-peasy installation – Let me start off by saying I did this installation while wearing in a tall cam boot. You know, one those bulky removable casts. Quite cumbersome but this needed to be done so…..

Old tape – Old tape, package must’ve been lying around for sometime because the tape was absolutely useless and had to buy more tape elsewhere.

Don’t buy this – tape is fused to paper backing and unusable – Could not install product on window with 3M tape as it was fused to backing on both top and bottom of adhesive tape. Couldn’t separate the backing from the adhesive tape as backing paper split apart in the middle of the paper instead of releasing from adhesive tape. Total disappointment.

Call 3M if your tape is bad!!!! – I’ve used this product before and had success, so I ordered it again for this year. I fought for a half hour with the tape before finally just giving up and slam-dunking it in the trash can. The paper would not separate from the adhesive, and when it did, it would only come off cleanly for an inch or two before splitting along the fibers of the paper and leaving behind paper that was impossible to remove from the tape.

Usually excellent….beware of old tape – I get these every year and use them on our three bedroom windows. Our house was built in the 70’s and the windows are original. If I don’t insulate the windows with 3M film, they get excessive condensation, which ultimately freezes during cold spells. They also help to keep the rooms warmer.

It worked – Ok so this honestly just looked like a roll of regular scotch packing tape to me. Still not sure how different this is from a regular roll of tape…. However, it did work and I haven’t had any of it start to peel off. So it has good adhesion. I expected it to be thicker. But this is really just for stopping weather and air leaks, which it is managing to do so I guess I can justify the cost. Side note, it’s not a big roll of tape. Good for small fixes but just be aware. I used it to seal the edges of the window panels if two portable ac units.
