These are much nicer than any candles sold in the big box stores – I was really suprised at how nice these candles are. They are well made have a nice elegant look and the LED tip looks like a real burning candle with the tip extended slightly above the top of the candle giving it a realistic look. The remote is great with on/off and options for solid light or flicker light, 2hr, 4hr, 6hr, 8hr timer and brightness control. If you turn them on at 6:00pm and push 4 hr mode, the light will automatically turn off at 10:00pm and then repeat this sequence every night automatically. These are soo much nicer that the old fashioned plastic tip ones and look like real candles. I would highly recommend these candles.

Good looking – Not fully reliable on insertion of batteries – I do like the looks of these and the brightness is appropriate for a “candle”. The flicker function is surprisingly realistic. I did have difficulty with one of them lighting up when inserting batteries. Repeating the process eventually made it work and it seems OK now. Also, one of the suction cups would not hold on the glass window, causing the candle to drop off within a few minutes – multiple attempts. Finally, swapping suction cups, it seems OK. Only two are on suction cups. The other four are using the “brass” candle holders.

onecorrect review just wouldn’t work – The candles look lovely I ordered and received the taupe w silver base. The problem is that one candle will not light. I redid the batteries several times and just no connection. Everything else works great but 1 out of 6 for a planned decor just rates 3. Too late to return and get new for my holiday plans. I just corrected my review as the manufacturer quickly replaced the defective candle. They look and work great

I got an extra surprise after I used the remote two days turning them on at the same time with the control and setting the timer for 6 hours on day three they turned on by themselves and turned off at the 6-hour mark. I didn’t realize they were going to come on at dusk and they did. Love these candles, these are far better than any of the ones I have purchased in the past that I’ve been disappointed in.

Love these candles!! – I love these candles! They are affordable and convenient. I just use the remote and set the timer and they all turn on each day of my Christmas decoration at the same time and go off at the same time– no running around the house trying to cut of each candle. I do however find some of the suction cups don’t hold as well, but that issue far out ways their practicality and convenience.

Mixed review – I bought 2 sets of these candles first – they work perfectly. But I needed 4 more candles for windows and ordered a 3rd set. How disappointing! 1 candle does not work at all (using all new batteriesI!), and 1 candle will come on but turn off in a minute – there is obviously something wrong with the unit, and it is so frustrating!

Improvement over previous plug-in approach – These battery operated window candles were an improvement over the 120 V plug-in variety in several ways. First, there are no extension cords to deal with. Second, there are great control features for on-off, brightness, 24 hour timer, etc. Third, they are more attractive. With our 30 year old plug-ins the only way we could do on-off was by screwing/unscrewing or plugging/unplugging; we had to be home and remember to do it.
