Good product, good price – This product usually has a good price on Amazon for the volume. These tabs are easy to use, easy to open packaging and have good foaming action. I don’t feel like the cleaning/freshness lasts as long as with another brand I have used/doesn’t seem to have any residual action.

Just ok – To use these you run a bit of hot water, drop it in the disposal, and grind it up for I think 30 seconds. A blue foam comes up, which is kind of satisfying. The smell from our disposal was gone, but it came back after a few days. I don’t know if these are any more effective than vinegar and baking soda. I don’t think I will buy them again.

these make me feel so good at cleaning – Garbage disposals are disgusting. They’re the worst. They get stinky and seem to not want to work for no good reason sometimes. I enjoy their convenience of getting rid of small scraps though. It beats touching one of those sink catcher nasty things.

To me, this has a chemical smell, but it sure does the job. – I use Affresh brand for cleaning my dishwasher every month, and thought I’d try this Affresh product to clean the garbage disposal. Works like a charm. Even cleans the rubber part that keeps the disposal from flinging food back into the sink. Also, it comes up through the other side of the double sink and cleans that part, too. Even though there is a bit of a chemical smell (to me), that just tells me it is working. Worth every penny.

Cleans Disposal, Not Pipes – Ice Hack – I’ve seen a few comments around how it only stays fresh for a couple hours which sounds kind of like there may be something in the pipes themselves rather than the disposal chamber itself. I had that experience myself where I found that there was a build up in one of the traps in the way the pipes were configured under the sink.

No Disposal Odor – My disposal has NEVER been cleaned other than by using a paper towel; yuck! I bought this product because so many people mostly raved about it. Initially I used four of these tablets in my disposal to get a good start on getting it clean and without an odor. This works great! No odor. I also bought the Bastion Lemon Scented Capsules to use afterwards. They work great after the thorough cleaning with Affresh Tablets. Buy both if you do not want any odor and a thorough cleaning. I plan on keeping up with these two products in my disposal.

Good cleaner – The instruction says to run the water in low volume and let the tablet foam while running the garbage disposer. But, I think you need to stop the running water and garbage disposal unit for a bit when it starts to foam. Else, you end up rinsing all the cleaning action before it has had a chance to do its work.
