Excellent product for the shower especially when using well water – I live in the mountains where the well water is full of rust and other products that when I wash my bleached hair, it falls out. Finally discovered this filter that has saved the day. I am a repeat buyer for several years now and will continue to purchase this product in the future. We don’t want me to be bald now do we. Works as advertised – The city water where I live is absolutely atrocious so I needed a product that would help keep the water from destroying my family’s hair and skin, I’ve been using these filters for well over a year now and they are almost a perfect solution to filter and soften my water. My only complaint is that they don’t last quite as long as I would like; I usually get about 3-4 weeks per filter before they need replacement (and no, backwashing does nothing to improve flow from my experience). Keep in mind that your results may be different than mine as far as how long they last because we have heavy sediment coming through our pipes.
