It doesn’t stink – The manufacturers packaging is pretty flimsy. Both items were partially open. They still did the job.

Works for reducing odors – I bought these to use in my indoor trash and recycle bin. I removed them from the plastic holders because they would not stay suctioned. If you’re relying on that to place the product in a specific space then I wouldn’t spend them money.
