Great desk drawer meter. – Price and size works well for in my top desk drawer. Yes I know it should probably be stored somewhere else for most but as I seem to always be puttzing on something and need some quick decisive meter reading this unit works well for me and deserves to be at my becken calling. Great value – I had to buy a new as my previous one stopped working. That one was $30 at Walmart which was a rip-off compared to this one. $10 is good and it basically has all the same functions as the previous one.

Good value priced tester with beeping continuity test. May have loose fuse. – A good value for a small basic tester. Powered with a included 9v battery. There are 2 fuses inside. 3 small Philips screws 1 for battery cover and 2 for back case. Could not see any readings on 200mA scale and thought the fuse was blown. Was able to remove the 500ma fuse and test it on the diode/continuity scale. The fuse was still good. One of the fuse holders had opened up but worked after squeezing blades together and putting the original fuse back. Something to check if you have no current readings. The other fuse near the bottom is the 10A. The square wave out setting makes a low buzzing sound when used to probe 3.5mm phone headset plug. Overall a very useful device if you need to do some basic testing.

The 9V battery came along with it ALREADY INSIDE the multimeter! If you press the right button, the screen light turns on and starts dimming for 10 seconds until you press it again.
