Once installed it’s snap off, snap back on . . . no tools! – I’ve bought & installed new toilet seats at home for about 50 years. These are the best design I have ever used. Once the anchor bolts are installed they stay tight and do not have to be replaced when replacing with a matching Bemis Easy Clean & Change Hinges model. Just snap it off and snap on a new one. You could even order different colors and change the seat color as often as you wish. That would take about 15 seconds! One could even lite-sand and re-spray the enamel painted seat … maybe with an enamel color of your choice.

style, color, price – all 5 stars – The style and Almond color are an exact match to the seat I needed to replace after more than 20 years. Thank you, Bemis, for continuing to manufacture these. To my naked bottom, there’s no difference between this new one and the old one. Thank you, Amazon, for offering so many colors. And a shout out to Home Depot for carrying Bemis toilet seats in the Bone color. The difference between Bone and Almond on a computer screen was too much of a challenge for me, so the trip to Home Depot made it clear that Almond was the color I needed.

Very Nice,buy USA stuff – The only reason I gave the mounting system 4 stars is it is plastic. This price point it is top notch for a seat. Our toliet came with a plastic seat, dont buy a plastic seat. The new design for the mounting system is ingenious. It should stay tight and in place, awesome. I did have to trim the wing nut for the mounting system becauae our toilet shape got in the way on one side. I just trimmed it with a scissors. Tighten until it stops and put the locks on. Ingenious!

Comfortable seat at a reasonable price – I prefer enameled wood toilet seats for the warmth in the winter and the comfort. Bemis makes some of the best mainstream toilet seats available and this one is well made. The white color is a bright pure white, so it makes the enamel on the toilet look a bit dull and gray by comparison.

Perfect fit – easy to install – I got the round version in “Cotton White” (which is just regular porcelain white) to replace the toilet seat on my Gerber toilet (yes, apparently they don’t just make baby food). High quality wood based toilet seat – I appreciate the quality and weight of this product. I’ve used the particular toilet seat for years and just replace it periodically when the price is right. I like their design for the hinges. It is easy to keep that area clean with the option to remove the line from the toilet for easier cleaning. I went to the Manufacturer’s website to learn about the proper technique for cleaning the lid, as I wasn’t happy with the cleaning results I was experiencing. The manufacturer recommends not using harsh chemicals (I have been using harsh chemicals). They recommend anti-bacterial wipes or dish soap. So I have been not cleaning them properly for years. Good lesson for me.
