Works well, claims to be waterproof. (but not really) – I have 2 of these on my shed. I found putting a bead of silicone caulk around the top edge of the cylindrical portion of the light will help to keep it waterproof. The first one I installed filled with water after 12 months. I was able to take it apart, dry it out then seal it up and it back to working again.

Best thing about it is that it can go anywhere as it needs no batteries it’s solar powered and charges pretty quickly. GREAT LIGHTS! I just wish they didnt quit after 1 year – I love these these lights. I live in a rough part of town in an apartment complex that is not well lit at night. I put these up and bam we have light. Everyone thinks they are a camera too! It really makes me feel a little safer. My only complaint is they usually stop working after 1 year. It always happens when we have a rainy spell. I think they could be sealed better. Regardless, I keep replacing them. Its worth it.

I bought a total of two of these! – Between the two of them, one aimed north and the other south, they light up at night in the backyard whenever triggered, so that we can see the neighbor’s cat running through in the night and my dogs can see the entire yard when they venture out. And otherwise it’s wonderfully dark out back which adds to the peaceful enjoyment of the evening.

Not for winter use?!?!?! – The instructions say to “bring indoors in cold freezing weather”. So it’s basically not much good for the winter it when the sun sets in late afternoon and you need the light. I’m leaving it outside year round and see how long it lasts.

This light is great!!! – I have one corner of my house that is dark. I stuck this light in the ground and it was more than enough to illuminate the yard! I can now see my dog when she is in that part of the yard. She triggers the sensor every time. I have never had an issue with this product. It stays out in rain and wind. I would highly recommend and wish that I had bought it years ago!!!
