Tall filters – These tall filters solved my overspill problem in my Mr. Coffee maker. No more grounds in my coffee!

Good sized filter – I needed a filter with sides taller than what is available in the store. Found these while reading questions someone asked about the physical measurement of the filter. A gentleman answered the question with specific measurements so I purchased the filters. They work for making 8 cups of coffee without the grounds overflowing into the filter compartment. I do wish Bunn made a filter with the same bottom diameter as these with the sides about 3-1/4″ high. That would be perfect for brewing 12 cups.

Too Tall for Coffee Maker – I bought these filers when I bought my Hamilton Beach coffee maker and they’ve been a huge disappointment. They’re too tall for the basket and inevitably collapse, ruining the cup of coffee and allowing grounds to flow into the coffee pot. I’ve tried wetting the basket before putting the filter in but that didn’t work. A good cup of coffee in the morning is essential… and these filters are not cutting it!
