Well Designed Measuring Tape – The CRAFTSMAN Tape Measure overall is a great easy to use tape measure the locking mechanism is very well designed compared to other tape measures (which just retract all the way back when you release the tape lock) The tape measure releases the tape back slowly as you push down on (kind of like a pumping motion) so you can easily control how much to retract the tape measure by. The font and numbers are very clear and visible to see. Measures in INCHES only. Nothing on the tape is super sharp or that will cut you and the front the tape measure is powder coated (the belt clip is also powder coated as well) which gives it a nice feel. The image on the amazon page however is a bit misleading with the USA flag on the product image (for the NEW model) whereas the actual product is not Made in the USA and actually Made in Thailand so if you’re looking to buy something that is Made in the USA this listing is not for you. For the price it is a great tape measure if you can look past the fact that it is not actually Made in the USA.

Excellent and sturdy – Love this measuring tape. It’s solid and works perfectly. It’s sturdy for measuring longer distances with little support for one person compared to other measuring tapes. I definitely recommend this and it’s reasonably priced.
