Wall anchors don’t work – The gate is great but the anchors provided are not. They repeatedly pulled out of the wall when expanding the gate. I had to buy better quality anchors at Home Depot and now the gate stays mounted to the wall.

The Goldens are rather large and one is a counter surfer. If you turn your back on her she will quickly nab something off the counter, edible (like a loaf of banana bread) or inedible (like knives). They all like to lie down at my feet when I’m cooking, sometimes causing some unsettling missteps. I really needed something to block off the kitchen to the animals. And, it had to be mounted on an angle. After reading many reviews and comments on gates, I decided to try this. It is perfect for my situation. The lock on it keeps it taut so the dogs can’t push on it. That made it perfect for my puggle as I was afraid she could push it enough to crawl under it. Not happening! And, you can’t complain about the price. I love this gate!
