3 things that DeWalt Manufacturer missed!! – 3 things that DeWalt USA Manufacturer missed on this one. is that mine came with no Grease! And that seems stupid! The build Quality is Fantastic and Great. Made in The USA good Old school Classic DeWalt impact driver, I’m happy with this tool. But you cannot run this tool without some grease or lube! Good thing that I think about checking the tool first, disassembled it and checked the motor, gear, hammer and Anvil and the housing itself and I found NO grease! that’s dumb! So I Put some Ryobi TTI tool grease in there, I reinstalled all the parts put it back in and Run it and then the tool is running great, it Purs like a Kitten!. Whoever assembled this must have been in a hurry or probably doesn’t have a clue of what he or she is doing. Anyway! Mine came with a Descent Nylon DeWalt tool bag the typical black and yellow color, a 12V/20V Charger and the Driver tool itself but no Belt clip and stock Philips bit! What in the World is going on?! Besides that they forgotten the grease and lube on the tool they also forgotten the belt clip and stock Philips bit too and they shipped the product just like that! What a dummy! But who cares!!! I got a lot of those spare parts in my drawer anyway so I put em’ in there and it looks cool! The pussy ass battery is just only a 1.5Ah and probably won’t get you anything done If you’re a Contractor/Carpenter but I’m just gonna save it for backup battery but I got lots of DeWalt 20V battery in my Stockpile I got the New 10.0Ah, 8.0Ah, 5.0Ah, Compact 4.0Ah and the new 1.7Ah Power Stack battery all 20V batteries. Great and Awesome unit. Now for the smell? You folks gotta have to understand that this model is a brushed not brushless and the smell is only on the first time. You gotta break in the tool like what I did but it’s up to you, I drove some 4-1/2″ x #10 Deck Screws Torx T-25’s and drove 3″ Philips Deck Screws. Drove some 4″ and 6″ Spax Powerlag Structural Screws (Washer head) Torx T-30, 6″ inch long 5/16th Timberlok screw and 3″ long by 1/2″ (or 13mm) dia. Lag Bolt. Then I got the tool broken in. The weird and nasty Smell is gone. I recommend this tool!
