Best tool I ever bought – I knew I needed a new jig saw. I’ve owned a bunch and I knew the next one had to be cordless. You can’t go wrong with DeWalt so I bought it. What an awesome tool; variable speed, lots of power, long battery life, it runs so smooth, I made cuts I would have never attempted with my old B&D, Bosch or Sears Special. It has two LEDs to guild you along the cut. Blades are super easy to change and best of all, they never fall out while you’re working a cut. I can’t say enough good things about this saw. I wish I bought it years ago.

Best of the DeWalt 20V Jigsaws – After trying the other available models in my hands, I chose this one and it has worked out well. The balance is good with a 5AH battery, the blade mechanism works well, and cuts are accurate. I wonder about sawdust build-up in the blade mechanism over time, but so far it has been fine. As a pro, I’m keeping this jigsaw on my trailer, so I had to come up with my own storage box to protect it during travel. My favorite jigsaw is an old corded Bosch that I have owned forever, but this is a close second and it offers cordless convenience.

Nice Jigsaw – This jig saw is very nice. It is extremely accurate and cuts super fast. The portability of the saw is definitely a plus. This uses the same battery as some of our other DeWALT tools so the “tool only” worked for well for us. It is the quality we expect from DeWalt so i will have to assume it will last. The function to cut at an angle works very well. It has a very nice grip and is comfortable to use. It would have been nice to have some sort of storage case or bag, but it doesn’t take away from a 5-star review. Highly recommend this jig saw.

Great addition to my arsenal of tools – I’ve had a Bosch Jigsaw for a very long time. The cuts I can make with that thing have always impressed me. I had never thought about replacing it, until now. No more cord, the weight seems similar, the feel in your hand is really nice. The light, the speeds are great on this model.
