Simple straight to the point – Works great in my home have used this to Mount tvs security equipment haven’t had issues with readings at all

Mediocre at studs, great at AC – The stud center indicator is a little inaccurate sometimes and the push button that operates the device is awkwardly placed. But it does locate AC wiring very well, which is important. So I use it in combination with a comparable device from a different company that more reliably finds studs. Two finders is better than one, I figure.

By far the most accurate I have ever used. – Product has yet to miss a stud. Before purchasing, I went on youtube and watched some reviews of various stud finders. My personal favorite testtuber is project farm. His test are over the top, and is not bias in any way. He test hundreds of products. You should check him out. Have not missed one sing stud with this product. Voltage warning is a very nice feature… works better than i have seen a lot of higher priced stud finders.

doesnt quite work on 5/8 drywall – I think it’ll work fine on thinner drywall but I’ve been using it on 5/8 drywall with poor results. I’ve used drill holes and borescopes at the end of the day to confirm the studs but the stud finder just often completely missed studs or just indicated “off center” by the entire stud.
