      Great Blades, New Box, still terrible for organizing – So… Dewalt obviously does read these reviews regarding the case not fitting the items. Unfortunately their follow through on fixing the problem is lackluster. Don’t get me wrong, the tools themselves are all great which is why they still get 4 stars. The case itself though? They started packaging this set in the “tough case” now which it doesn’t show in the listing yet which is great and all, but they didn’t include the separators. So now I can either throw this stuff in there willy nilly or I need to keep the cheap plastic interior packaging that came with it. I really don’t get it… they cheaped out on including 10 cents of plastic pieces which could have made this a truly great set. Guess I may fabricate my own separators… just a weird choice by DeWalt.

      Packaging problem solved – Reviews of the Dwalt 5 blade oscilating tools noted the poor packaging. I just received the package today and the plastic box that holds the blades has been redesigned. The box is now rectangular and noticably different from previous pictures. The box has plenty of room to store additional blades.

      Worked great for me – First of all, I’m not sure what everyone is complaining about when it comes to the case. Maybe Dewalt addressed this problem, I don’t know but everything fits perfectly fine in the case I got with this set. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the job I bought it to do wasn’t that difficult so I can’t say for sure that it’s deserving of 5 stars. The connection on my garden hoses became frozen together after years of use so I had to cut them apart. I used this to cut through the female side of the coupling which was made of aluminum. Atteched the bimetal blade to my oscillating tool, set it on high and cut through in under 1 minute. Again not a hard job, but performed great.
