Perfect. – I’ve always been a case guy for all my tools so as dewalt moves away from making cases for every tool, I was somewhat perturbed but now that im familiar with the logic, economy, and utility of their two stackable systems (Toughcase and Tstak), I am a believer. So now building a Tstak system for mobility and organization. The tool i planned on storing in this case is the same one you should use to cut the foam bed line. The Dewalt Multitool is very precise and you can cut between the square perforations for very detailed cuts. It’s also long enough to go all the way through foam. I got a great fit but will use spray adhesive and maybe duct tape along inside of molds to keep them clean when grabbing the tool or returning it to case. Had enough room to place tool with blade on, larger battery, and an attachment case for the multitool. Awesome. Back in business with cases and Dewalt:) Note: Some Dewalt equipment comes already in Tstak foam kit. The track saw i bought a year ago also came with one. Also bought the tstak deep box/long handle and foam to store tool. Moved Dewalt DCS391 6.5″ circular saw to this box with bat and charger. Making a contruction tsak tower and a painting toughsystem tower–two things I do often. Next…the Tstak trolley….

A sturdy box to hold your daily tools so you always have them by you. – I love this box. It holds my charger, batteries, wrenches and my impact drill. The thing has many handles and with my backpack of hand tools i can even though some food that i know won’t be crushed. It’s big enough to hold my equipment yet small enough to not be a huge carry on everywhere and nothing can put a dent in it. I just wish i could try the larger box to go with my large and rolling Dewalt Tstak cases.

Good stand-alone home tool box – I spent a few afternoons browsing tool boxes at local hardware stores and a few afternoons browsing their online selections as well as searching Amazon. I was looking for a hard case, sturdy enough to be used as a stool in a pinch, so all cloth cases and bags were out. And I was looking for something I could organize screws and similar small items in. Having previously used tool boxes with built in subdivided trays in the lid, that was my first choice, though drawers were another option. I did, however, need a fair sized open bin to keep my larger tools, and most drawer units did not have that option, or were in my opinion too big.

Great addition to my garage organization endeavor – I started working on organizing my tools and my garage in the last month and I started with organizing my tools. I need to get some smaller parts out of the junk drawer in the kitchen so I started by purchasing the 2 drawer tool box. I already had the long handle case from years ago and that has held up storing my dewalt drill and driver combo with three batteries for almost 10 years now. This will integrate with that tstak box and, as I have done some research, fits the craftsman versastack hardware at Lowes. I don’t intend to carry this drawer box to many, if any job sites, since I’m an engineer, but it will give me some organization in the garage that my wife has been consistently nagging on me to do for years. I am considering the single drawer box as well as some more versastack hardware. I was looking at the new dewalt tool boxes but they seem too rugged and pricey for my usage. I do have some Ridgid tool boxes, but at this time, they do not have a drawer system but they sure are rugged. Anyways, this dual drawer tool box should last me many years of casual use.
