Adequate tool – Light weight plastic tool. Purchased a caliper decades ago that was also made of plastic. This caliper is not as robust design as the older one, but functions adequately.

Pretty good for the money – I mean its a set of calipers made from a material that isn’t steel so what can you expect? For the money these are a great value, not precise enough for use in a machinist shop but for a hobbyist these are perfect. I used them for taking measurements I used for 3d printing and I never had any issues with them, just be careful not to squeeze too hard as the jaws will flex and give inaccurate measurements.

I know precisely the size of each component, and this measured them very accurately, to within about a tenth of a millimeter. With it I was able to measure the size when I put screwed several components together, and the result was predictable and accurate.
