High Quality – This Digital Caliper Tool is unbelievable for the price and they give you a spear battery to boot, its high quality and comes in a case that actually is easy to use unlike some things that once you take the item out of the space provided it’s difficult to put back in. I highly recommend this tool, it may not be a tool you will you use every day however when the use comes up it’s great to have one like this. It’s great for measuring inside diameters and outside diameters, I just used it to measure the inside diameter of my bike seat stem hole as there are many different sizes .

Heavy – I wanted to up grade to an electronic digital caliper. I’ve been using one of the plastic General dial caliper for years. And that has worked for my needs – but I wanted something a bit more precise like this digital model. One thing that I didn’t consider is how heavy a metal one was compared to one made out of plastic. The extra weight makes for taking measurements a bit challenging.

I’m disappointed. – I have a cheap Mac tools plastic dial caliper that only reads in thousands of an Inch which is fine but the jaw faces never fit flat against each other. I bought this because it was not plastic and read in 3 different readings.

Good Value Case Hinges Won’t Last – I like the large display and the inch fraction option. It seems accurate. It keeps it’s zero after moving to measure. The thumb wheel is different from what I’m use to but does not seem to effect it’s accuracy. The hinges are already turning white at the bend point so I don’t expect them to last. For the money I’d buy another.

Inexpensive and accurate – In a former life I was an aerospace machinist and lived by my tools and calipers. When I moved on to other work I sold my Mitutoyo set, still not sure what I was thinking. I’ve since got into 3D printing and want to start making parts but I needed a way to measure so I bought these. From all these years ago I kept some calibrated steel balls and rods and I finally got to use them again.

Easy to use and easy to read – I’ve used vernier calipers in high school (manual ones) – compared to those, this is a breeze to use. Came with additional batteries. I was able to demonstrate usage to my 10 year old and she picked it up quickly. I like the build and usability.
