Dependable – We live in a place with no street lights. So it is handy to have a flashlight when we need to get up in the middle of the night . Saves stubbing toes and stepping on the cat. Our previous flashlights were smaller but not well made as the batteries would die within a month and the connection inside was faulty so illumination was not consistent. These Ever-ready flashlights live up to their name. Consistently bright. Batteries last months . I dropped one on a concrete floor. No damage at all!!! Light weight and compact so I can fit one in a purse or in the car, or even under my pillow! Love the design so two AA batteries powers each and the set comes with the batteries!!

Serves its purpose – These flashlights seemed very lightweight and cheap when I first received them, but it turns out they are pretty bright and have held up really well, even with 2 kids using them.

Inexpensive flashlight. Not high power but great buy. – I was looking for some inexpensive flashlights to put in critical places. This four pack met my needs. Not much light but I have a high power one for that but having that one close to me means buying a bunch of expensive ones. These are great fill ins when all you need is a bit of light and you want them strategically placed for quick access. They have plastic cases which is good because with their larger size, it is easy to write the location they belong on the side.

Eveready 4 Pack LED Flashlights Purchased For 4 Squabbling Siblings – We have quickly learned in our home with 4 young children (ages 7,4, and twins 2.5) envy and bickering can be easily squashed by buying like items. Each item is marked with the child’s name and we have also incorporated a color system for each of the siblings really for us as the parent to identify which one the item belongs to. Anyway recently they had began to argue over dads flashlight and we felt that this would be a fun inexpensive item to offer them for good behavior outside the norm. The value was definitely there, our biggest complaint that arose fairly quickly was when our twin boy pulled the black rubber piece covering the switch off of one of his siblings flashlights. Not only was the other child distraught but well a fight erupted. Dad was able to locate the piece and reattach it. But that only lasted until the twin boy got his hands on it again. We had kids wanting the switch covered, some didn’t and finally an uncover switch won out. I believe we currently have 3 of the 4 that are uncovered. We have tried to keep them on but inevitably they always fall out. Overall for what we were looking for they are fine. If I was looking for water resistant/proof in them. They would have failed.

Perfect emergency lights! – I got these because my power went out and I had to search high and low for a flashlight. Hard to do in the dark. Now I have one in several places so I won’t have to do the feeling thing in the dark anymore!
