Lots of plastic, but did the trick! – A very hairy ghost clogged up my bathtub drain last week. (I live alone and my hair is very short, so this is the only explanation.) I cannot handle taking a shower while ankle deep in water, so I ordered these in a moment of desperation. I kept my expectations low because I didn’t want to be disappointed, but these worked great! Much better than the flat kind with the tiny hooks up and down the sides. I can shower in relative comfort once again. The only thing is that I had to use all five and I feel bad about using that much disposable plastic. I would definitely consider ordering these again if I need them, because they work like a charm, but the experience has also motivated me to look for more environmentally responsible options, and start using a hair trap even though I don’t feel like I need one. Do hair traps catch ghost hair? Guess I’ll find out.

Wow!! This thing rocks!! – I didn’t even have this ten minutes before I decided to give it a shot. The new tub drain didn’t permit a regular auger to pass through, so I thought I’d give this a try. Aside from a little difficulty getting this wad of hair out through the tiny opening (I ended up taking part of the drain off), I couldn’t believe how much this teeny little thing got out. My slow draining tub is working great again, thanks to The Drain Weasel!!

Amazing!! – As usual tub & sink was draining slowly. Used this – OMG! what this simple little thing pulled out!!! & I use a hair catcher in the tub!! Gross but wow!! Most of the gunk seemed to be around the stoppers vs further down. Sink had a lot of mascara grease. No wonder they were draining slow – I can actually hear the water going down both drains now. I was able to clean off the brush really well with paper towel & the soap & water. Can reuse it probably 1 more time & save on plastic waste. I’ll set a reminder for myself to do this every month or 2 so it doesn’t get so bad.

Gets the job done in tight spaces – While the handle sometimes slips off the business end, it’s more of a nuisance than a problem from my experience. If the heads were reusable, this would be even better, but I’ve yet to get one clean from drain hair after use (hence the replacements included). Had a tight fit shower drain that this works well to get in there and get the hair out when the water drainage is slow. So solves the problem it’s intended for. Is it perfect, no. Does it get the job done, yes.

Worked perfectly… – I don’t write many reviews, but this product worked so well I felt compelled to do so. I had an annoying clog in my bathroom sink and was convinced that I would need to take the pipe apart to clear it. The pop up drain stopper was on very tight so I had minimal space to fit in a snake. The Drain Weasel slipped in without a problem, attached on to all the gunk, and with one pull the drain was cleared. This product works exactly as its supposed to. Highly recommend!

Just WOW! – Had a slow draining bathroom sink, so I used drain cleaner…twice. It helped, but actually chipped off part of the sink drain flange. Unfortunately, now I know what that is and need to replace it. Talking to my nephew at a gathering, he told me about this little device. For the price I ordered it…came fast. Not all that impressive looking, but figured give it a try. Snapped on the rod, so easy. Didn’t even take the stopper out and it fit right in there. Down, down, turn, turn, pulled it out and there was a big glob stuck on the end. I repeated this three more times, and each time big globs of yuck came out. Snapped off the dirty rod and tossed them out. My sink runs like brand new and ready for the flange replacement. After trying so many products over the years, some pretty expensive, this one just rocks. Ordered replacement rods to have them on the ready and two more to give a gifts. Highly recommend, but when you are done cleaning out the drains, get ready to be saying “wow” for awhile!

Yuck! but boy does it work! – I just did my shower. The clump of hair I pulled out was massive. There was even a small bottle of body wash in there that came up with the hair. (my cat likes to pry the drain cover off and play in there. I now keep the doors closed.) I used a second wand and brought up more hair. Easily a $75 plumber bill that I took care of for a few bucks. It is intensely disgusting and the smell, well try to breathe through your mouth. I truly didn’t expect this to work but I am now a convert, No more caustic drain cleaner for me until I try this first. If you have hair, you should own one of these. While it is theoretically possible to use a wand more than once, trust me, you won’t want to clean off what you pull up. One caveat, it is easy to put this thru the holes in your drain going down but it won’t come back thru them when it is full.
