I used to replace a gasket on a Sterilite Gasket Container – Moths had completely eaten through the original gasket and therefore did not stop moths from getting into my food! I searched high and low for replacement gaskets but to no avail. Then I had the bright idea of using this, it works perfectly!!! I order the 1/2 inch wide by 1/4 inch thick and it’s a perfect size. If you need new gaskets use this it works! I now have to see if the moths like to eat this as much as the original gasket, this does seem quite a bit denser than the original… fingers crossed. The blue gasket is the original and you can see how much damage the moths did.
