Don’t waste your time on universal remotes – This is the answer! We first ordered a universal because it was a few bucks cheaper but boy did we spend more unnecessary time trying to pair it with our garage door. Gave up and sent it back and got this one and in SECONDS it was paired and working. It’s true when they say “you get what you pay for”. Don’t waste your time on universal ones. Save your time and gas from having to take the return back.

Easy to program just follow instructions – Take your time and read the instructions a few times and compare the buttons on your garage opener. If you do that, you should not have any problems. A few years ago I winged it instead of following the directions and things got messed up a bit . So ….I needed some help from an “expert” in the garage door biz. My bad. Avoid that mistake by reading instructions!

Very easy to program, only concern is remote button has no tactile or audible feedback when pushed – I bought these replacement remotes when my previous remotes both ceased to function (the first one failed a year ago, the second failed more recently). Before declaring the prior remotes broken, I tried replacing the batteries and re-programming, but with no success.
