      A good tool- 10/10 – You get an incredibly solid tool for $30- I’m a Swiss Army knife guy and this is a solid edc to match with one if you don’t want to invest in a more expansive plier based multi tool.

      I like this tool – I like the design, weight, the feel, the number of tools and the tool locking feature. I also like the belt clip and the spring loaded pliers. I have only been carrying them around for a few weeks and haven’t put them through any really rigorous tasks but so far, so good. What I don’t like is the medium flat blade screwdriver/ file/ ruler. It’s very stiff and difficult to engage. It’s mounted under the belt clip which makes it almost impossible to grip from the ruler side. The only other negatives I could find was the lanyard point and the slight misalignment when closed. They decided to cut corners and make the lanyard point out of plastic. Hasn’t been an issue for me because I probably won’t tie a lanyard to it but just wanted to point that out. This is my second Suspension NXT (first one was lost or stolen) and it also had a misalignment of the two sides when closed. Not sure if this is a defect or just the way it is. Haven’t reached out to Gerber yet about it. In general, I think this is a nice, well designed light duty multi-tool at a reasonable price. Only time will tell if they are sturdy enough to last.
