    Corroded Batteries – Two of the installed batteries are corroded. I will clean them to see if they work. Otherwise, it came with spare batteries which had gotten loose and were stuck to the magnet. I will use those if the others don’t work. I don’t necessarily need the flashlight part, and for the price I paid after Thanksgiving, I don’t mind the issue. Had I paid full price, I would have been disappointed.

    Magnets are quite strong. – I gave this to my husband for Christmas. Thought he could use the help finding nails or screws that get dropped. He tested it out on a large pair of scissors. Was a much stronger magnet than I thought it would be. Also discovered that the end with the light is magnetic also. It is not as strong, but that is most likely due to the light being there so the magnet is smaller.
