Compared to other brands – I’m reviewing three range headphones, side-by-side, to help you make an informed decision:

Big Head Review of Walker Razor VS Howard Leight Impact Sport – Specifically for males with large heads. To start I am 6ft 3 inches tall about 280lbs and wear a size 7 7/8 (one size below an 8). So I can say I have a pretty large head and proportionately large ears. As far as which I recommend over the other my answer is get both and see which fits you best.

Quiet Comfort – Looking to protect my ears while poppin’ off a few rounds, I grabbed these active noise-cancelling earmuffs.

– Very good for the reduced price, although I don’t think I would be as happy if I had paid in full.

– I bought these as a backup pair for my Peltor Sportacs or for friends to use. The sound quality of the headphones isn’t as good as the Peltors and they aren’t as comfortable, however they were less than half price. An improvement would be a separate on/off switch, as per the Peltors, rather than switching off the unit using the volume switch. Because every time you use them you have to set/adjust the sound level, which is a pain. Other than that I’d recommend them for use with shotguns.
