Great quick clamps – These are great for one handed use and quick clamping for anything that requires light clamping.

Not what I expected, but they are clamps – I have a set of Irwin Quick Clamps bought from a big box retailer. I ordered this bargain set expecting to get four more of the same, plus four additional clamps. The Quick Clamps in this kit are lighter in weight and construction than expected. The jaws are smaller. The metal bar is thinner. The plastic is lighter in weight. So these clamps will not take the same stress of the ones I bought previously. Still they are clamps and they’re Irwin. The spring clamps in the set have very heavy springs. I can barely squeeze them open with one hand. I think they may loosen a bit with use, but I guess the extra tension means extra clamping force. In all, this set is a good deal, 8 clamps for about $5 each with a 40% discount, but it’s definitely not the bargain I thought it was.

Very firm clamps – This package is a Great value for the money as you get so many clamps. All the clamps are very firm and I have had no issues with slippage whatsoever. The trigger mechanism is easy to use, and the release is easy to pull as well. The plastic is hard and even though they’ve rolled around in the dirt and my tool buckets some, don’t have many scratches and still look halfway decent.

descent holding power – I’ve used these to clamp some wood and hold down a project while working on it and they seem to work well, the metal release handle sometimes hurts my hand if I’m not careful, otherwise I think they should be fine.
