A bit clunky – The camera doesn’t turn very fast towards movement and I have struggled with the sensitivity settings, I bought the camera to monitor my apartment door (scary neighbor) and it picks up on EVERY sound. I get notifications every minute or so with 14-16 second clips of traffic sound I have turned off the sound monitor and have it set to the minimum and to detect PEOPLE but it keeps sending me the notifications that it detected sound. Great I suppose if you’re using it for kids..but it is too sensitive with sound and it’s tracking moves too slow.

“LOVE CAMERA” PISSED AT ADD!!! – LOVE CAMERA READ TILL END FOR CAMERA INFO !!!!! So when I looked at this camera it said for it to work I had to get the alexa echo dot….so of course I have had issues with my home and people breaking in so I got both…echo dot is 35 bucks on its own….well I get the camera all set up and the echo dot is useless….there is absolutely no need to have it so why it says “buy both” is ridiculous you only need the camera and an SD card if you don’t want to pay the subscription. I can’t even understand how to use the stupid alexa echo dot and it makes no sense all it does it show me what my phone shows me…..so waist of money and horrible job on amazons part….but as for the camera this is my second the first one sucks but this thing is amazing. Yes it has its downfalls its not perfect the app isn’t very detailed and when you move the camera to veiw a different advantage point it is slow but it records and has many features I needed foe my houses safety…the only thing I have an issue with is the microphone, I have no idea how to work it and there are absolutely no directions with the camera only how to connect it….but the video quality is amazing the night vision is amazing so I would highly recommend this camera over any other….but please do NOT feel the need to get the “stupid echo” dot unless you want the subscription.

Confirmed my suspicions – I was worried that my dog was upset when I needed to leave him alone and now I know. This thing is amazing! It clearly shows the dog pacing at the top of the stairs the entire time I’m out. The sound is exceptional clear. His pitiful barks which fade into semi-howls are enough to have me racing back home – which has resulted in significantly shorter shopping excursions. Set up was really easy. Can see this coming in handy for security purposes when the dog and I go on vacation using all the money I’m saving because I no longer want to leave my house without the dog.
