Awesome! Easy and fast setup! Works great! – I’m sooo happy with how easy and fast this setup was! It took about 5 minutes total.

Excellent product – I have purchased 12 of these plugs so far for two locations. Excellent connectivity. This holiday season I have saved the required 80 hours of run time to have the individual plug pay for itself. At this point the plugs are making me money. My only ask is that they create an outdoor rated unit (waterproof). I purchased a waterproof box for outdoor electrical cords and put one of these plugs inside. So far no issue. I currently have 5 outside/unheated garage and 7 inside. I do not have Alexa so I cannot answer any questions on that. 5/5

Awesome product! – The Kasa mini plugs work with my echo dots. I can tell Alexa to turn on anything that I plug into it, lights, fans, etc. I can tell Alexa to turn my lights in my bedroom at a certain time so they come on with my alarm, which helps when you have to be up at the buttcrack of dawn. You can tell the Echo Dot (Alexa) to turn all the lights on or off in the house, or just an individual room, or a single light.

Awesome – We wanted these for some items that needed easily adjustable schedules. These are even more flexible and easy than I expected. The main page has a simple on/off toggle and then once you go a level deeper you can get lots of great options. I mainly wanted to be able to have multiple on/off times scheduled (this works similar to the iPhone alarms). However, I find myself using the timer more often than I expected and it is really handy to turn it on and then simply set a time (ex. 10 min) for it to just itself turn off (or on). Overall a very clean interface with lots of options and easy to access what you need quickly. I have not had a need to set mine up with Alexa (or others) so I cannot speak to that. I didn’t consider the Kasa at first (though I like TP-link) but I’m glad my original option was junk because I returned that and ended up with this awesome product! Would buy again if I needed more plugs in the future.

Kasa Smart WiFi (TP Link) products work great – I love Kasa Smart WiFi (TP Link) products and they work great with Alexa. They are so easy to set up and schedule programs for on and off if desired. Once set up I do not have problems with them like Wemo. Kasa products are so much more reliable and I love the ability to see the energy used (on the ones with that ability). I had outdoor plugs (KP400) set up last year and when plugged in this year they remembered my settings. I also have the 3 and 5 plug strips with the ability to control each plug.

Simple and effective – These are very easy to install, they work as intended and haven’t had a failure on them. If by any change you loose internet connection, the scheduling will stop working until the internet is restored, they do not have an internal clock or memory to action it without internet however once it comes back they will return to operate normally without any interaction from your side. Better than a timer and being able to turn them on remotely is a big deal. Again, simple and functional. Also you have a manual override button on the side in case you want to manually turn it on or off.

Convenient way of turning lights on and off on a schedule – Good Wi-Fi distance. Easy to set up. But I cannot purchase more until a firmware update is produced so that if there are Wi-Fi glitches due to power outages, product reattaches to Wi-Fi. It will reattach if it’s a momentary lapse, however if power fluctuates and your Wi-Fi goes off and on several times, it gives up. This would be a catastrophe if such a thing happened while away and a schedule was set up for light timers etc. In other words, should such an event happen AKA trees intermittently touching the power lines etc during a storm, it wouldn’t reach out at a dedicated time frame such as repeatedly 1/2/3hrs later etc to try and reattach. This type of event happened One night when internet went in and out several times during the night and the next day none of the outlets were found in the Kasa app. A couple months later ( currently ) a similar event occurred and two of them were not recognized any longer but I was home. I let it go for 2 days and they never came back online until I manually unplugged and replugged in the units. Until such is resolved I don’t feel led to buy more of the apparati such as the light switches etc because if they were to go out in similar manner I’d have to flip the breakers off on the house to reset them or take apart the light switch. Just food for thought for all and the manufacturer.

Make Dumb Things Smarter – I use these for appliances that don’t need a power button pushed after getting plugged in. For example my heater which I leave on medium power.
