      save your money – Switch is real glitchy. Won’t recommend

      Almost perfect – I had an eye of the storm back in the 80’s and I got this just on a whim because I used to love listening to music and just watching it dance. This is not quite as good. The old ones had a slider that you could vary the intensity of the activity inside the plasma ball. From one strand to dozens. This one lacks that ability. It’s just full intensity which looks very nice but lacks the dynamics of the old ones. Then, there’s a mic sensitivity setting on the switch where it will vary the intensity in synch with music that’s playing. This seems to be geared only to be triggered by mid bass frequencies and below and then only when listening at fairly high listening levels. So, for me anyway, that setting is relatively useless. Still it’s a nice little accent piece and it’s still nice to turn on and stare at meditatively.
