As advertised – I have received the ladder on time. The package is nice. As you may assume, I did not test it as it would be difficult to put it neatly back together but looking at it I feel sturdy and it will do the job well (hopefully I will never need it). It is “must have” in your house if you have at 2 stories as insurance.

Escape Ladder / DO NOT PRACTICE – I purchased this ladder because my daughter moved into a second floor walk up in the city. She had a window in her bathroom that goes two floors down to the court yard, i needed to know she has MULTIPLE escape routes if she can’t get out the front door. The ladder actually says “do not practice” because it’s dangerous no matter what, i’m rest assured just because she has it, makes a Momma feel better and She does as well.

Not used as intended, but fully satisfied! – I was a little skeptical at first for the application we were using it for but it held up. It held me no problem and with my gear on I was 210lbs. There wasn’t too much of a “swing” effect and each step was where you would want it to be in a hurry! I understand it’s original intent but if you seek adventure like my wife and I, this can be used creatively as it’s compact and light weight. The “large hooks” on the top end can be used for many odd ball shaped areas outside of just a window seal. Oh and delivery was pretty fast too!
