The best upgrade for your mixer – Keto guy here, so I make fat bombs with blocks of cream cheese and various other ingredients very regularly. This paddle makes it so easy because you don’t have to stop and scrape anything! And about those with the rubber breaking, I throw blocks of cheese straight from the refrigerator in there every time and it never damages it. I think maybe many of those that are breaking are due to improperly adjusted depth of the tilt head smashing it too hard into the bowl wall. Set up and used properly this will last a very long time, but yes, expect it to eventually wear out.

Good paddle! – I was looking for an after-market replacement paddle for my Artisan, maybe something in non-coated metal. But I saw this, and everyone seemed to like it so much, I tried it. It’s excellent. The rubber edge make a big difference in mixing, especially with respect to the speed at which the mixing is done. It’s faster than the standard paddle.

Great accessory – I love that I don’t have to stick a spatula down in the mixing bowl anymore!

Arrived with paint chipped – I am not sure about this item. Arrived with paint chipped from top area where you insert into mixer. I kept it and gave it a try, but it seems to set my 20+ year old mixer off kilter. Probably going back to my old paddle, which feels heavier and more substantial.

Scraping Beaters – These beaters work perfectly with my kitchenaid mixer and scrape much more effectively than the beater than came with my appliance. Durable and connects exactly as the Kitchenaid beaters do.
