Using these masks while teaching in public school. – Since the craziness of the pandemic, I have found myself jockeying through reviews, blogs, and other sources to buy quality face masks. There appears to be so much self-interest from manufacturers and suppliers attempting to build a better mask mousetrap. I landed on these K94 masks a while back and have reordered them, yes they are lighter than some of the heavy-duty masks I’ve seen out there, and they also have a wider ergonomic cavity for breathing, as I am a big person and need the interior space.

Good fit but not too close – I appreciate the firm form over the mouth. I can speak without feeling smothered as the mask does not set on my mouth. The nose peace does go a bit high, the chin part gives full coverage for a secure feeling I am protected and protecting others.

Weak plastic nose bridge – If you supplement this with an add on sturdy aluminum nose bridge stick on support, then this is good mask. It’s light weight, cheap and wirecutter tested in so the filter in solid. The loops are big (use a clip on the neck to correct), and compared to the dr.puri this is large, small people might find it too big. If you don’t plan on supplementing it with a nose bridge and a clip this wont seal well. Dr puri are better, but still have big ear loops, more expensive, and feel slightly less breathable.

Ideal For Long Flights – As someone who personally never jumped on the bandwagon of excessive masking, my family and I still think it is important to take reasonable precautions nonetheless, especially in heavily-transited environments. Finding these genuine KF-94 masks helped us avoid wearing the common and somewhat uncomfortable surgical masks. We did not just feel safe from COVID-19 during our trip as a result of the KF-94’s effective seal, but they were so comfortable we kept them on all the way to our destination without having to take them off (except for eating and drinking) or swap them out at all due to discomfort. KF-94 masks don’t make contact with or rub the lip and chin areas or the tip of the nose when worn, which is perhaps the only negative observation I have about wearing the surgical masks for prolonged amounts of time.
