Made my old toilet look brand new! – I recently bought a new house and the guest bathroom was perfectly fine, but the toilet looked a little outdated. Since it worked I didn’t want to replace it but then I realized it wasn’t the toilet itself – it was the old seat! I got this on a Black Friday deal and it’s so nice! My toilet and bathroom sparkle now. And it’s comfortable, sturdy, and the slow closing lid is very nice. It was super easy to install and should last a lifetime! Very pleased.

A Fully Functioning Toilet Seat – This elongated Kohler Toilet Seat installed perfectly onto my Delta Toilet Bowl – in almost no time at all. While I don’t generally stand around and admire toilet seats, it’s a good looking item. I like the wood – it has a sturdy substantial feel to it. My butt just reminded me that the seat is comfortable, for me. I love me some soft-close technology and this toilet seat has it in spades.

Not just any old toilet seat…. – Ok, so I’ve graduated from clunky “fast-close” toilet seats onto liking the quiet-close variety…but I hate sitting my bare butt on plastic, and hate even more that every other seat I’ve found has more of a seam where the lid connects to the seat…there aren’t actual hinges with an opening so you can clean underneath. Anyway, sitting on those seats feels like pooping on a couch. This is 100% the best toilet seat for toilet seat connoisseurs, like me. It’s wood composite, not plastic (yay!), and legit hinges with an opening between the seat/back like a old school floppy seat—so it’s easy to clean underneath yay!). I’m giving 5 stars even though the first one had a paint flaw on the lid. It’s replacement is everything I dreamed of and more!

Great toilet seat, but missing one listed feature… – I just received this toilet seat and installed it. I have mostly good things to say, I will have one negative comment… The seat is solid and seems well built. Installation was easy. It arrived in perfect condition. It feels nice and solid and has a nice weight to it. It is a simple handsome design. The soft slow closing mechanism works well. I have only one negative comment, and that is that this listing indicated that this is an easy to clean model, specifically that it had the quick easy release hinges, like my prior seat had, so that you should be able to unsnap the seat from the toilet to clean around the bottom with the toilet seat completely removed. The box that this arrived in indicated all of its features and does not mention that feature, even though this listing does say that that feature is present. Now that I have installed the toilet seat, it is clear that that feature is not included in this model. Instead of it being that easy, one would need to spend a solid five minutes with a screwdriver removing the seat if one wanted to, and instead the seat will just not be as easy to clean, as it is not reasonable to remove the screws each time the toilet is cleaned. The toilet seat is otherwise a five-star product, but I am deducting one star for the lack of this feature which was listed as being included in this product listing. I hope information is helpful.
