It measures up to my standards. – I use this device to measure thickness of plywood when replacing floors, diameter of holes when fabricating, and it also marks (scribes) on whatever you’re measuring. Easy to read, easy to use, and I carry it with me….while I’m using it.

Nice Weight, Easy to read and Versatile – It arrived last evening and I put it to use in the shop this morning. I took a bit of time to compare it to my other tools (calipers, micrometers, DRO, etc.) and found it to be every bit as accurate as anything else in my shop. I like the weight of this tool. It functions smoothly, returns to zero accurately, is easy to read and has that added feature providing fractional displays that is handy when I may want to work in even measurements in fractions of an inch that don’t require a accuracy down to the third decimal point. If I could change any feature on it I would find a method for changing the battery that does not require removing a phillips head screw. It’s not a big issue, the proper size screw driver is included, but it does take time and risks my losing the screw among the clutter that often visits upon my workbench. The plastic case is rugged but is held closed with two plastic “flapper” hinged latches that will certainly fail in time. I will install a flush mounted magnetic latch to replace those. Overall, this tool is well worth the price I paid for it and I would recommend it without hesitation.

Love it – I purchased a high dollar set from snap-on and was more than a little upset when they turned up missing. To avoid the shock of loosing another high dollar set I found these. The fraction measurement was not available on my other set and can be a little hard to use but it has come in handy a few times. The construction is very sturdy making them a little heavier but the weight difference is a nonissue. The action is smooth and easy and the case holds up better than I thought. Came with 2 spare batteries and a screwdriver (haven’t used yet but it’s there). After using these calipers I will not be going back to the other brand. I focus on quality and these are in my opinion every bit the quality of not better.

I like that it is made of aluminum, the action on it is pretty smooth, easy to operate the slide. I’m going to be the envy of all at any coin shows, pawn shops, auctions, etc. as I will be able to measure items along with weighing and testing them for authenticity. It came with a little screwdriver for the battery compartment, it has a hard plastic carrying case in which the caliper fits in nice and snug.
