Good head light – My large shed is dark inside all of the time. I have lights wired in, but I have to pull an extention cord out and run it across the yard to the house, about 40ft. This head light makes it much easier to go to find some items without the cord hassle. Not the brightest but good enough to search the shed.

Seemed Light a Great Idea, But… – I have had the LE headband headlight for a while and like it. However, when I learned of this Molaer LED strip headband light, I thought it seemed like a great idea. I use these lights when I walk my dogs before sunrise or after dark, making us more visible along a moderately busy road and easier for me to see and clean up the dogs’ deposits. I have had the LE light for a while and like it a lot. The one issue I have is that the box, which is positioned on the middle of the forehead, bumps against the brim of my hat. Living very near the ocean, the early morning and night air is often filled with a rolling mist, making the hat important.

Light and ideal for runs – I bought this for a Ragnar race and used it for my late night section. This was perfect for it. It is super light, very bright and was very comfortable for the run. Because this one has an LED strip, this one is much better for running.

Best light I’ve ever used to walk my dog before sunrise – I love this light. I wear it when I get out with my dog before sunrise. The area it illuminates is very wide so you can see the whole road and off to the side without turning your head. One time I saw a few glowing eyes in the woods watching us, which creeped me out until I realized they were just deer. It is great for working on cars and other things in the dark. Having grown up in the days when good flashlights were big tubes full of D cell batteries that you had to lug around I am very happy these exist. I never used the motion detection feature and don’t remember how it is supposed to work. The power button is fine. Also, I re-charge them fairly regularly after use so I’ve never determined how long the batteries last.

I compare all other headlamps to these – I absolutely love these headlamps, I am literally slowly buying a couple here a couple there to have one in each car, one on my boat, garage, barn, deer blind and having a few hanging around places I use to keep flashlights. These are so versatile with 5 functions and not having to hold them, I believe they are worth every penny. I have learned these are cheap enough to give as gifts to friends and family that will actually be appreciated. Love these!

I would give it 7 stars. – I have bought several head flash lights. Much more expensive, heavy, and not near as functional. I actually would take the headlamp off more than on my head to get it to aim correctly. If they honor the one year warrantee , and if they keep the price this low, awesome. I am glad i tried them. I really was not expecting these to be this effective.
