Stupendous – Let me start off by saying I never write reviews, but I felt compelled to write one for this product. I originally purchased these because I have ADHD and it’s hard to focus with noises such as typing. have to write essays for my exams through a computer and I didn’t really see comments regarding typing. These earphones have nearly silenced the typing that I would normally hear from other students’ computers. Although we were spaced away from each other during examination, I could barely hear myself typing. If I did hear typing, it was not at the noise level that would distract me during an exam. The only thing that would distract me was the doors opening and closing, students opening snacks with a noisy wrapper or loudly opening a beverage. Nonetheless, these earphones helped with blocking out distracting noises to maximize my focus.

Easy to put in and take out – I tested 16, yes that is right! 16 different pairs of different earplugs and these were the winners because they are comfortable, easy to get in and out of my ears with a loop to pull on. I am a musician so I have my earplugs in and then out over and over again. They block the sound quite well. While I am playing – I am in a loud band- I usually only keep one earplug in and the other in my pocket. Only four stars because I so desperately wish that these came with a lanyard so that I could keep them safely around my neck. These are much sturdier than the other little junky silicone earplugs and they are easier to keep track of because of the larger overall size and the loop. Oh yes and the little carrying case that they give you is junk. I found a small zipper pouch that keeps them safe when I am not using them.

Toned Down to Normal – My fiancé has 2 ruptured eardrums and I’m overly sensitive to noises… not a great combination. Well these are here to help. I’ve noticed I can still hear our conversations perfectly without the mute additions in place and fairly well with them in place. It dampens the noises that bug me like the dogs licking their paws, fans, noisy TV, etc but I can still hear the oven timer or microwave go off and if the fiancé calls my name from the other room.
