      User friendly for elderly – My 89 year old dad uses this to turn his night stand light on and off. Easy for him to use. Happy with purchase.

      Not for Christmas Trees! – I needed a dimmer for our new Christmas Tree. After reading the reviews, I thought this one would do the job. After a few seconds, we experienced the smell of something burning and the plug melted. It says clearly on the device it is for certain types of bulbs only. My mistake! I assumed the reviews were accurate. Please consider not purchasing this for Christmas Tree use. I will read more carefully on the product itself from now on.

      Works with “dimmable” led bulbs – I got this product for my vintage style bulbs. My fixtures hangs from the ceiling and has three sockets for incandescent or led bulbs. I have one Edison incandescent bulb and the other two are “dimmable” led vintage style bulbs. So I can confirm this will work with led bulbs but on the led bulb box it has to specifically say “dimmable”

      I’d purchase again in a heartbeat – This is the 2nd plug of this type I’ve purchased in the last 5 years, and I would purchase it again. The only small issue I have is that I place this remote on the nightstand right next to my bed, and occasionally the remote slides off onto the floor. This isn’t a real issue or deal-breaker for me. The pros of this remote cord far outweigh the cons. I still love it despite this issue. I’ve been considering getting an adhesive cord organizer clip to attach to my nightstand so that would probably solve this issue. I love that I can use my lamp on its brightest setting when I’m putting my folded laundry into the dresser drawers but dim it when I’m relaxing for bedtime. Sometimes I even put it on the lowest brightness to climb into bed without the light bothering my already-asleep husband or hitting my pinky toe on the bed corner. With all this said, I would purchase this again in a heartbeat and highly recommend.
