They allow me to sleep – These allow me to sleep well while my husband snores away. After trying a few sizes and densities, these ear plugs work the best for me. They are soft, not too large, and block sound well. For me, they work best if I roll them to compact them, then dampen, and insert. Sometimes it takes a couple tries, but when I find the sweet spot, they are comfortable and block sound (snoring) completely. Using only at night, I can get at least a week, and often more, out of each pair before they become less malleable and need to be replaced.

For very narrow ear canals only – To the one struggling to decide which ear plugs to get, I hope this helps. I spent hours, if not days, researching ear plugs on Amazon. I ended up with 8 different ones because, well, I’m indecisive. Many of these didn’t work for me due to my own weird ear anatomy but I wanted to give my experience with each and what I’d recommend given your situation. Everything is subjective, but I hope this helps someone else as the previous reviews helped me. I’ll put my quick summary first and the details after for those wanting more info. *The pink ear plug is an average run-of-the-mill ear plug for size comparison.

Best fit among spongy earplugs – I’ve tried several brands of this type of soft, expanding earplug and these fit me better by far. You squish them down and then hold them in the ear canal while they expand. Others don’t stay put, popping out easily. These stay in. Since our ears are all different, other people might have different results, but these are the best for me.

GAME CHANGING! – Finally able to benefit from foam ear plugs! For the first time in my life, ear plugs will actually fit into my ears!!! Snoring spouse noise is almost completely silenced. I will never be without these going forward.

Perfect for me, buying more – I have small ears so these are a perfect fit for me! They are very comfortable and cancel out not all but enough noise for me to sleep comfortably. I’m a light sleeper and I don’t hear my husband’s cpap machine with these on. I just ran low and ordered another batch. Going to keep using these as I don’t need to look elsewhere anymore!

Are they now 31? It says 29dB but I got 31dB ones – I’ve bought these apparently 13 times, 12 times with no issues, great product. I have narrow ear canals and the regular-sized ones are extremely uncomfortable. Started buying them after my eldest was born so I didn’t have to hear every baby fart after because we all shared a room for three years, almost 4 (don’t worry mamas, while wearing these you can still hear the crying, it just muffles out the snuffling, farting, and general loudness of baby sleep!!).

Works well – I like the slim fit since the other sizes cause discomfort and pain. The only downside is that the sound cancellation isn’t as good as the other options of this brand. I used to use the neon green pair which I loved because it blocked a lot of noise while I was studying. This item is also good but you will definitely be able to hear some noise. I live in NYC and these earplugs have been helpful especially when it’s a busy night. It will block the noisy neighbors but you will still hear sirens and buses.
