Finally! A Good Way to Trap Hair! – When you have long hair, you know it’s only a matter of time before it will cause a clog in your pipes. I looked at many different solutions and finally chose this stainless shower drain protector. It works great! It captures almost every hair, long or short, and is simple to pick up at the end of the shower to wipe the hair off right into the trash. Effective and easy win the day for me!

Not so good on small tile shower floor – This catches hair and yes, is easy to remove hair. But does not suction to a shower floor that’s made of penny round tiles or mosaic. Becuase it can’t suction to flooring that has alot of grout lines, it’s easy to get moved a bit. It’s real easy to reposition but since it’s not completely flush and suctioned, some hair gets through the sides. I still use it though, it provides extra coverage to just the regular shower drain cover.

Restores beauty to a shower drain… – LIKE: Because we previously bought a horrible wire mesh shower drain protector that destroyed my beautiful chrome drain by scraping it into a rusty piece of junk I had to find a solution. THIS DEVICE saved the day. It covers the damage that was done to the original shower drain in a beautiful way. It sits on top of the drain so there is little chance of the device not fitting any shower drain size. It fits above the drain, not into it.

Only for flat surface – I bought this because the holes in my shower drain cap were too big. My shower drain sits a bit lower than the floor so this one kinda slips. If your drain sits even to the floor of the shower then this will work nicely. Wish the silicone rim was a bid wider.

Elegant and Effective – I have very long hair (near knee length). I also have a brand new shower that I didn’t want to clog up like the old one, nor need Draino or other drastic measures. This drain cover is -fabulous-. The pictures show it next to the drain and covering the drain. It fits the little depression perfectly and looks really nice, fitting in beautifully with the new bathroom fixtures. Even better, I accidentally stepped on it and mashed it flat and it’s holding that shape without looking mangled, so now it doesn’t graze my arches when I step too close.
