Works well – I needed a new drain for my kitchen sink and saw this one. I love that it is coated on the bottom, so it’s quiet and does not scratch the sink underneath. It catches everything and flipping it inside out to empty it, is genius. Rinse clean in hot water. If it gets dirty once in a while, it washes easily with dish soap.

Much better than the old style metal strainer – I got this one to replace a metal strainer we had that was having issues with the edges getting rough. After cutting myself on scuffed metal, I wanted something different. Just having silicon edges is a no brainer, but the fact you can push it inside out to dump stuff in the trash or clean it out is bonus. I would definitely buy this again if I needed a replacement.

Huge help – Have large deep stainless sink, no disposal. This seats perfectly in drain to prevent bits going down drain. Handle makes it so easy to pull up to empty and rubber catch basin can be inverted to easily pop out wet bits of food. Haven’t had for too long so can’t speak to the durability of the rubber part after many uses
