The flat plug allows furniture to get close to the wall while still leaving the other bays in the wall outlet free for other things. No blinding LED to keep me awake at night. It’s sturdy, has ample USB ports, everything is spaced generously and still the size is compact, and the cord is nice and long. I have it sitting on an old Ikea Jerker desk in the home office/guest room and it’s become the hub for that side side of the room.
