Would Recommend! – I was hesitant to get this as I found it through some research, but no one I knew personally had used or tried it, what swayed me was it did say it was good for homes with pets. Though I do not have outdoor animals, I have indoor cats and deer that walk through my property.

Broken container, contents work – The product works well, but the container’s top was completely broken upon arrival. I would have dealt with the annoyances of returning it but since I really needed it I just put all the contents back in the bottle and duck taped the broken lid in place.

This is the One to Buy! – If you live in a major city or have pets anywhere, this is the ice melter for you. water runoff from this product does not harm plants and it’s not poisonous to pets. it quickly and very effectively melts slow and if placed on concrete steps or sidewalks before a snowstorm it will make snow removal easier. sure, there are indeed cheaper ice melter products in the marketplace but for the sake of all your 4-legged neighbors, spring for this product. it’s terrific.

Works Great! Fantastic Customer Service! – First snow of the season yesterday. I threw a small amount of Safe Paw down on the various surfaces we have which are stamped stained concrete, Trex, Asphalt, Westcoat concrete overlay on roof above coffee shop and brushed stained concrete. That pre test showed Safe Paw did not negatively affect any surfaces. It snowed about 4” and this morning when I broomed each surface, every one was slushy underneath, including the Trex which is decking and allows airflow underneath. The low last night was 17F so I was very happy with the results and cleanup today. The only residue from any of the surfaces was on the brushed concrete. None of the others had any whatsoever. It looked like a small salt circle and wiped off easily and did not reappear or stain. I wasn’t sure how a product that doesn’t harm pets or plants would work but this absolutely does. This is the product we will use on our property from now on.

Pet Friendly ice remover – Just a light spread of this pet friendly ice remover does the job. I use it on my deck and patio to make a safe path for my pet to get to the grassy area of the lawn. Two steps from my deck to patio get very icy and this ice melt takes care of the steps so pet doesn’t slip and slide when using the steps to get down off the deck or back up onto the deck. I keep a jug on hand all winter!
