Doesnt work on mosaic tile that has different thickness tiles – Was real excited to use this tool, the videos seemed to make caulking effortless. However, I soon discovered trying to us this on a backsplash that had different thickness tiles was a disaster. Impossible to get a clean smooth caulk line. When the tool hit a thicker tile it left ridges at every transition to the next tile that had a different thickness it left a gap and then smeared the caulk onto the next different tiles. I had a very difficult time cleaning the caulk out of the textured tiles. Had to stop using the tool. The tool will work fine on smooth same thickness tiles or walls but do not buy this if you have tiles like mine.

Easy to use- – Just redid the silicone caulk in my bathroom and these scraper and shaper tools worked really well. I watched many YouTube videos to get tips beforehand which definitely helped. My only complaint is that there were no instructions provided. There are a number of differently sized shaping tools and it would have been helpful to have some guidance on choosing the correct size and shape. I emailed the company to inquire about this but got no response. The scraping tools did work well for removing the existing caulking. I did go back afterwards and used flat razor blade to carefully remove any remaining caulk.

Great tool – The right tool can make any job easier. I used this tool to get old caulk off the tub and to scrape off any extra caulk and I believe it made the work load easier. I didn’t use the part of the tool to spread the caulk but I’m sure it would work nicely if you are good with gadgets and tools. I dont know how long the plastic scraper would last if one used it a lot, but it held up for the job I did. I’d recommend it simply for the ease of removing the old caulk.

Good but over priced – For the most part this works really well. I paid more for this compared to other brands available to get a better quality item. I don’t feel this is worth the extra money. The main part of the scraper is hollow and open on one side. It makes it lighter but lessons the integrity for long term use. The plastic scraper corners wore off after the first use. I’ll have to be careful or it will eventually wear itself too small to use. Almost the whole thing looks and feels cheap.
