I got 1600 watts – Just curious about the numbers being reported.

Saved me $$$ – Used for 2 hours straight on LOW temp with zero issues. No overheating at all. The power cord is also very heavy duty and thick. For the average person, this won’t be used often, but when it’s needed you’ll be VERY happy to have it.

Working Well for Projects – Working great so far! Light weight, pretty powerful for the size. Wish there was an actual set of numbers on the low/high heat dial, even if it was an approximate. First time using a heat gun so having a reference/ballpark for temperature would be super helpful.

Works as described. – Bought for shaping and molding EVA foam costume. It works great for the few times I’ve needed it. Super hot output, dial worked correctly. It made all the lights in my house dim and flicker, not sure what that was about. I chalked it up to us living in a very old house. I’m glad I got this instead of using a hair dryer, it’s just not the same.

Great heavy duty hobby heat gun – As the title says this is a great heavy duty hobby heat gun. What I nean is ‘hobby’ grade tools tend to be cheap and flimsy. This gun is lightweight but sturdy and puts out a lot of heat. I don’t know yet if I’d recommend it for commercial use but when one considers it sells for about half of what my local Wal Mart is selling essentially the same thing for, how can you lose? I bought it for making pvc archery bows and love it!

Versatile heat gun – I bought this heat gun as an upgrade from a very basic one I’ve been using for 20 years. It’s such pleasure to be able to control the temperature and use the attachments.

Decent quality, basic, economy heat gun – I use heat guns quite often, mostly for applying heat-shrink tubing, and bending PVC tubing and pipe. For these applications, I have a couple professional heat guns by Milwaukee, with accurate digitally controlled fan speed and heat control that can be variably set and then the gun adjusts to maintain the setting. But those cost a few hundred dollars, and I wanted a couple inexpensive basic heat guns for my home shop and garage.

Cool heat gun – Lightweight, I like the analog control, feels kinda cheap but if ya think about it it’s just heat coils, a fan, a switch & a temp control. Less stuff to break, that’s why I got this one instead of the newer version. You should have no problems with it unless yer an idiot. With the focusing nozzle it gets HOT.
