A little complifated to install the first one – after that, easy! – Note – you MUST DOWNLOAD THE CORRECT INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE AMSYN WEBSITE – instructions posted on Amazon are WRONG!

Basic smart plugs – Simple and basic smart plugs. A little too big when plugged into a standard double outlet as it blocks some of the other plug. Can’t fit 2 of these on same outlet.

Not too bad – Packaging was great, didn’t look like it had been returned or previously opened. The actual plugs were great, no damage nor had they been used previously. NOW… to the setup…

Save electricity with these – I got these initially to act as light timers for when I go out. The scheduling function via the iphone app is OK to use. However, with my electric bill climbing, I decided to use these with my entertainment center, TV, and other items. When I sit down to watch TV, then I turn on the electricity. Until I set this up I had no idea the entertainment center’s DVD player and ROKU were being powered 24/7 in standby. The DVD player has been plugged in for 14 years using electricity!

Handy to have around, but could be better – I was looking for old school timers when I saw these on sale. I mostly wanted something to automatically turn pet heating pads and a fish tank light on/off.
