great for price, automation confusing – Not sure how long the bulbs will last, but so far really good. Great control of color and can group lights. App is good but slightly confusing. Still can’t quite figure out the automation (turn on at specific time). Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t, but not sure why. I think it’s user error, but I can’t figure out why.

Updated: Bulbs are great, app is good – Update: The app has been updated and it’s much better. Adding lights to rooms is now easy. Adding them to a room does not automatically put them in a group, you have to do that on your own, but adding lights to a group is easy and then you can turn them all on and off and set scenes as a group. For instance I have all the lights in my house in 1 group, then I have my 4 basement lights in a group. Then I split those 4 lights into 2 more groups so that I can have fluctuating colors in my basement if I want. Overall, much happier.

There is so many different colors to choose from in the app. You can adjust the brightness to so many different levels. These are great for parties or rooms that have themes. You can name the lights in the app. Setting them up to be controlled with Alexa didn’t go as smooth for me though. I had to do some extra research and the included instructions aren’t 100% clear. After getting it finally setup the app isn’t as user friendly as I expected. It’s not straightforward or easy to group lights and have them turned on or controlled with a single command. I think that it just needs some work on the app and the setup procedure. Other than that, the colors, the brightness, and the concept are great!
