Nice – Bought this over a year ago for my boyfriend whom works in the dark during winter months. Normal temps in the winter are from -25 (with wind chill) to the single digits. Well, it still works!!

Bad wiring/light design – Wore this for only 6 days of hunting and tried to get the light to come on after getting into the woods. Thought i had left the switch on by accident overnight. Nope….wire broken off from solder joint. Touched it to the joint and it works. Noticed the 2nd wire was just barely hanging too. I have an older one that I have used for 7 years or so and never an issue because it is all contained within a sewn section of the hood. This has wires hanging loosely between the light and an area to slide the battery case. I can re solder the connection, but the design will still cause the wires to get broken. I will have to sew or clip several inches of the flap to keep it from breaking again. Of course the return was out before I got to wear it!!!!!

Cute for Your Visabilty – The mauve Beanie was good quality and a cute color, but the light was not bright enough to see the ground. It’s perfect just to let someone see you coming.
