Autobody tech daily use pros and cons – For the longest time I have used the same battery powered pen style stream light as almost every mechanic I know. Recently decided to go rechargable and originally intended to get the rechargeable penlight until I saw this.

Love this flashlight – Pricey but worth it. Actually bought another one. I’ve got one for around the house and one for work estimating jobs . Love I don’t have to push a button to cycle through 3 levels of brightness every time I want to use a flashlight.

Very durable, compact and powerful light. – Have been using one in a shipyard environment for years now. It has been dropped into bilge water for 30 minutes before I was able to fish it out and it stayed on the entire time, no issues at all, just dried it off and kept going. I tend hold it my teeth when working with two hands and the charging port can get a bit slobbery but this has never affected it.

Easy to carry, bright – Build quality is great. Slim profile and deep carry pocket make it easy to wear for everyday use. Even low light mode is bright enough to blind at night. I don’t mind the side rocker switch but a tail end configuration would be even better. Would buy again if they make a more self defense oriented version with a tail switch, raised striking bezel and finger loop.

Decent piece of kit – I bought this cuz I wanted a light that lays flat clipped into my pocket. It does that. Wish it was just a little shorter though. It’s bright but the light is a flood style vs. a more directed/pinpointed beam. Not a big fan but it does the job generally speaking. The switch is alitte weird but again it does what it’s suppose to. Sooo “generally” speaking it’s a decent piece of kit for edc, but the Surefire version might be better. Not sure haven’t tired it.

Great flashlight; so easy to use; makes me safer at night; fills the hole in my heart with light – It’s maybe a little silly how excited I am about my new flashlight, but there’s something so pleasingly… sleek yet serious? about it that I can’t help myself. It works as reliably as any other streamlight I’ve owned and has a good, strong beam and good battery life, but there are some small differences that really make this a stand out for me, particularly the shape and the on/off/intensity dial.

Use this instead of weapon light – This is lightweight, slim, & easily is carried in your pocket with secure clip. If you are considering putting a weapon light on your carry handgun’s accessory rail, don’t. I found that the available holsters for weapon lights don’t carry well with my Springfield Hellcat. The Wedge also has a lot more lumen power than any weapon light.
