Awesome remote for humane trapping trigger – Ok, full disclosure… I do not use this as intended, not for turning on lights or opening the garage or making coffee. I use this as a remote trigger for trapping cats and kittens for TNVR and rescue. For that, this little device is amazing!

Magic does come in small packages. – What can I say? This little device is like the blackjack up your sleeve, it makes magic happen. Very versatile little device that can be used in some clever little ways. 5 stars from me for sure. Only changes I would make if it were a perfect world would be to make it even smaller but while maintaining the strength of the arm or make a mount for it that is hard connected via screw or something. There are a couple scenarios where I would like to use one but there isnt enough flat mounting space for it to adhere strongly and when it goes to push the button it instead pushing itself right off the wall. Other than that instead of praising it for all the situations and scenarios if is handy for I want to just note my two favorite uses I have employed at the moment.

Things you should know before purchase – If the thing you want the button to press isn’t lower or has about a 1/4” space between the button and switch it will completely miss or won’t open completely. The button is more like a ramp opening and closing. I’ve seen cheaper devices than this that have an actual extended arm and actually presses down on the button rather than the open close ramp mechanism. Biggest disappointment, you can’t give it smart commands without its own hub. That pretty much defeats the entire purpose of this device I think it’s so stupid you need a hub to add to your already home hub to give this a command . So I need a smart device to make my smart device smart ? Ridiculous. I thought that’s what this was for smh . Wouldn’t buy again .
